Originally launched as a weekly Facebook Live series, Automation Unplugged features host and One Firefly CEO Ron Callis, interviewing leading industry personalities and technology professionals regarding all things related to business development, technology trends, and business management best practices. Effective immediately, all shows will be duly published on Facebook Live and as a podcast under the show name “Automation Unplugged”.

“We know that our audience is busy on the jobsite or in commute,” remarked Ron Callis, CEO of One Firefly, “Releasing Automation Unplugged into podcast form enables our audience to access this valuable content wherever and whenever they choose.”

According to many market research sources, podcasting as a form of content consumption has been on a meteoric rise in recent years. According to Edison Research and Triton Digital’s Infinite Dial 2019 report, more than half of Americans have now listened to a podcast, and an estimated 32% listen monthly (up from 26% in 2018). This is the largest yearly increase since this data started being tracked in 2008.

Fans of the series, which will soon be approaching its 100th show, can now subscribe and download new shows from their favorite podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Deezer, iHeartRadio and Stitcher. Those interested will still be able to watch the premiers on Facebook Live as well as all past shows from One Firefly’s corporate Facebook page and the show’s dedicated page on the One Firefly website.

Additionally, One Firefly is actively transcribing all past and new episodes on the Automation Unplugged website. Visitors to the page will be able to read full transcripts for each interview along with detailed show notes.
