    Will One Firefly create an ad account for me?
    Yes — if you do not have a Google or MSN ad account, we will create one for you as a dedicated sub-account under One Firefly’s Google/MSN Ads Master Agency account. This account will be shared with you with no restrictions to the account access. Ownership of the account can be transferred entirely to you if services are terminated and any remaining balance owed is paid.

    Additionally, you will need to set up Google Analytics to run Google ads. Our team will assist you in setting up your account, and we will request access to analyze traffic data, set up conversion goals, and gain insights around the performance of your campaigns.
    I already have a Google or MSN ad account — will you use that to create my ads?
    No, we will not use your old ad account to run campaigns created and deployed by One Firefly. We will set up an ad account for you under the One Firefly Google/MSN Ads Master Agency account.

    However, we will request access to your old ad account. Our team will leverage historical campaign data to gain valuable insights and better position your new campaigns for optimal performance outcomes. If you do not have access, or ownership, of the old ad account, we ask that you exhaust all attempts, in a timely manner, to gain the necessary access. We will provide “best-effort support” to assist you wherever appropriate.
    Can you explain the monthly spend to me — why is there a management fee?
    Your monthly investment to run SEM ads is broken down into the following:

    Management fee: The SEM management fee covers the time One Firefly will invest in the ongoing management and optimization of your ad campaigns. You can expect that your campaigns will be actively managed, optimized, and reported back to you.

    Ad spend: Ad spend is the amount of budget you are putting into your ad campaigns. This portion of the monthly fee goes directly to Google or MSN.
    How long will it take to get meaningful results?
    Generally speaking, SEM is a way to accelerate lead flow and sales activity to your business at a faster rate than traditional organic methods. As with all marketing strategies, SEM campaign performance improves over time. In the Data Collection Phase (first 90 days), we'll learn the most about the campaign's effectiveness by meticulously monitoring performance metrics, fine-tuning strategies, and routinely looking for opportunities to improve outcomes.

    Ongoing optimization continues every 90 days through the life of the campaign, ensuring your ads are always tuned for the best possible performance.
    How much should I spend on Google and/or MSN ads?
    It is possible to spend too little and thus not realize a return on investment for your marketing dollars. A smaller budget means your ads will be shown to fewer people and there will be less data for our team to use for the ongoing optimization of your campaign. We recommend starting a Google or MSN ads campaign with a minimum of $1,000/campaign. Ad spends should be increased once the campaign is converting leads at an acceptable cost per lead.
    What is the difference between conversions and leads?
    A conversion is when a user/website visitor takes a meaningful action on an ad or website (ad click, form fill, live chat conversation, call). A lead is when a user/website visitor converts and then is qualified as a lead.
    What SEM metrics are important, and how are they related to each other?
    The following are some of the key metrics we look at while analyzing SEM campaigns:

    Ad clicks: Ad clicks are the number of times users clicked on your advertisement. More clicks means more traffic to your landing page or website, and more traffic is good if visitors are converting to high-quality leads.

    Impressions: Impressions are the number of times your ad is shown on a search results page. More impressions means more users are exposed to your brand and message.

    CTR (click through rate): CTR is the number of ad clicks your advertisement receives, divided by the number of times the ad is shown (impressions). A high CTR indicates that your ad and message is highly relevant to users’ search intent.

    Conversions: A conversion is when a user/website visitor takes a meaningful action on an ad or website (ad click, form fill, live chat conversation, call). More conversions means more opportunities for visitors to become high-quality leads.

    Conversion Rate: Conversion rate is the total number of conversions divided by the total number of visitors. A higher conversion rate indicates effective performance in a campaign (if conversions are the goal).
    How do I calculate ROI for a paid search campaign?
    The math for calculating ROI is straightforward. Take the revenue generated from the SEM campaign over time, minus the expense to run the campaign (your Google Ad spend + One Firefly management fees) over the same period.

    Ultimately, the impact on your bottom line will need to consider additional factors, such as your labor costs and expenses (COGS) or average profitability on projects.
