Review Policy

REVIEW AND MOBILE MARKETING POLICY

You have been prompted to leave a rating, review, and/or feedback (collectively, a “Review”) for a business (the “Business”). Your Review and your name may appear on the various review platforms, websites, and social media channels (collectively, “Property”), and will be publicly visible to anyone who accesses such Review. If you do not want to share your Review and/or your name, please do not publish it using this service.

GUIDELINES FOR REVIEWS

We require that the personal information you provide with your Review (e.g., first and last name, email address, phone number) is complete and accurate information. You may not impersonate someone else or create a fake identity (e.g., adopt the identity of a celebrity or your next door neighbor) or provide an email address or phone number other than your own. If you use a pseudonym, take care to note that others may still be able to identify you if, for example, you include identifying information in your Reviews or allow other sites to share information about you with the Business.

Please adhere to the following guidelines for you Review:

  • Make the review objective, useful, and informative. Be specific to give the reader a feel for your experience.
  • Write about the kind of information you would want when you are asking a friend or coworker for a recommendation.
  • Consider the following questions:

  • Did the experience meet your expectations?
  • Would you go back? Would you recommend this business?
  • Write short sentences that stick to the highlights of your experience.

The recommended length for a Review is 100 to 250 words. The Business may remove any Review that includes any of the following:

  • A fake or defamatory review;
  • A review on a competitor or competing business;
  • Content that violates any third party’s rights, including any breach of confidence, copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral right, privacy right (including with respect to phone numbers, addresses, credit and debit card numbers, bank accounts, driver’s license numbers and any other personal information), right of publicity, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right;
  • Content that threatens, stalks, harms, or harasses others, or is off topic or contains irrelevant content;
  • Content that promotes bigotry or discrimination in any manner, including but not limited to discrimination based on race or ethnic origin, religion/atheism, sexual orientation, gender identity, political affiliation, disability, age, or veteran status;
  • Content that use obscene, vulgar or offensive language;
  • Content that promotes a business or other commercial venture or event, or otherwise used for commercial purposes;
  • Content that impersonates any person or entity or misrepresent yourself or any affiliation with any person;
  • Content that violates any applicable law, rules or regulations;
  • Content that involves ongoing litigation or other court proceedings;
  • or Content that violates the Business’s Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy (including any third-party terms referenced therein) or the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any Property on which a Review is made available.
  • USE OF REVIEWS

    As stated above, your review will be publicly available across numerous Properties and will be available for the Business you are reviewing to be posted and shared in the Business’s sole discretion. In addition to sharing across Properties, Reviews may be used in print and other marketing collateral. By submitting a Review, you represent and warrant that the content contained in your Review is your own and publication of your Review will not violate any third parties’ intellectual property rights.

    MOBILE MARKETING

    If you choose, you can provide your mobile phone number to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text (e.g., SMS and MMS) messages from the Business, including text messages that may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system (“Text Messages”). Text Message frequency will vary. The Business reserves the right to alter the frequency of Text Messages sent at any time, as well as to change the short code or phone number from which Text Messages are sent. Text Message and data rates will apply, and you should check the rates of your mobile carrier. You acknowledge that Text Messages are distributed via third party mobile network providers and, therefore, the Business cannot control certain factors relating to message delivery. By signing up to receive Text Messages, you are confirming you are over the age of 13 and are a resident of the United States. If at any time after signing up for Text Messages you wish to stop receiving them, reply to the Text Message with “STOP” or contact the Business and request to be removed from all Text Message marketing. You further agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy applicable to the Business.
