Here at One Firefly, our goal is to help technology professionals successfully grow their businesses. On a surface level, we provide marketing support, but beyond that we really aim to provide solutions to challenges that our clients face on a daily basis.
The emergence of COVID-19 is perhaps the greatest challenge our industry and communities have faced in recent memory. And while we may not have all the answers, I and One Firefly remain committed to finding and implementing solutions to help each other succeed.
I’d like to provide you with an update on how we plan to address these challenges:
Our Employees:
- First the good news - One Firefly has been operating with a distributed remote workforce since 2015. All but one of our 42 employees currently work from home.
- We’ve instructed our staff to take the necessary precautions in order to keep themselves and their families safe per guidelines recommended by the CDC.
- Additionally, we’ve relaxed our flexible working schedules in order to allow staff to attend to their children who may be at home because of school closures.

Here’s just some of the ways we are immediately jumping into action during these trying times:
- We’ve created templated messaging around COVID-19 that can immediately be posted to your blogs and sent out via email to your customer email lists. Click here to learn more.
- We’ve adjusted our content marketing strategies with alternate editorial calendar options that are more aligned and sensitive to current challenges and opportunities.
- Aside from the non-stop news cycle around the pandemic, It’s business as usual for our remote workforce. We are not anticipating any slowdowns in production so your marketing efforts will continue uninterrupted at a time when they are most needed.
Our Industry:
- Over the past 5 years, we’ve operated with a remote workforce. Over the course of that time, we’ve learned many lessons on how to effectively and efficiently operate in this manner. As many organizations are forced to quickly adopt this mode of doing business, we will be working with industry publications such as CE Pro to help educate the industry on best practices. As long as we pull together, this storm too shall pass.
