SEO Strategist
Location and work arrangement
This is a full-time, remote role. You will work from home and should have reliable high-speed internet, a professional on-camera setup, and comfort leading video calls with clients and teammates. What You’ll Do
- Own SEO strategy and client communication for a portfolio of approximately 20 to 25 active clients.
- Lead monthly client touchpoints, Loom updates, pre-launch review calls, and quarterly performance reviews.
- Translate SEO performance into plain-language insights, recommendations, and next steps tied to client goals.
- Guide strategy across local, technical, on-site, off-site, and AI-influenced search visibility.
- Review, refine, and approve analyst-prepared reports, audits, content roadmaps, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with analysts, project managers, designers, account managers, and technical teams to keep work aligned and moving.
- Use GA4, Google Search Console, SEO platforms, and AI tools to improve clarity, efficiency, and decision-making.

- Clients feel informed, supported, and confident in the SEO strategy.
- SEO recommendations are clear, useful, and connected to visibility, qualified traffic, engagement, and conversions where measurable.
- Analysts and internal teams receive timely direction, context, and review before work reaches the client.
- Risks, performance trends, and opportunities are identified early and communicated clearly.
- You contribute to an accountable remote team by owning outcomes, following through, and raising issues constructively.
What This Role Is — and Is Not
This role is:
- Client-facing and relationship-driven
- Focused on strategy, communication, and account ownership
- Designed for agency professionals comfortable managing multiple clients simultaneously
This role is not:
- A deep technical SEO or execution-heavy position
- A single-account or in-house SEO role
- A senior- or principal-level strategist position
What You’ll Bring
- 3 to 5 years of SEO experience in a digital marketing agency environment.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts at the same time.
- Confidence leading client calls, presenting recommendations, and explaining SEO to non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of local, technical, on-site, and off-site SEO fundamentals.
- Working proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms such as SEMrush.
- Strong organization, follow-through, and communication skills in a remote environment.
- Preferred: Experience using AI tools to summarize, draft, refine, and improve SEO deliverables with human judgment and quality control.

Compensation
Compensation: $60,000- $75,000 OTE, including a competitive base salary plus quarterly performance-based bonus opportunities
