Kelly Anderson recently joined One Firefly as a Content Writer and is proud to be the only team member currently located in New England. Kelly has a BA in English Writing and Literature from Emmanuel College in Boston, where she also minored in Studio Art. In 2016 she studied independently at Regent’s University in London—and misses it a lot!

Kelly has been passionate about writing since she was six years old, writing and illustrating her own stories after school. Before One Firefly, she was a copywriter for a Salem, Massachusetts agency, and wrote for Boston Common magazine and Fordham University in New York.

She’s thrilled to be writing blog content, newsletters, and SEO website copy for One Firefly’s clients. With her writing experience in mind, she hopes to help the team write concise and fun content, while also learning more about marketing and the industry.

During the day, Kelly tries to use the remote position to her advantage and write at Salem and Boston-area coffee shops (she’s a self-proclaimed coffee addict). She also loves to travel, make collage art, practice French, and hosts a podcast with her cousin. When she’s not being creative, you’ll find Kelly taking extremely long walks and daydreaming about her next ideas.
