In 2019, One Firefly saw the need to bring technology-centric lifestyle video to our clients. An ambitious endeavor, One Firefly dove in headfirst and as of November, had completed our third video shoot. We are excited to share a unique, behind-the-scenes look at how it all came together.
Our Second Photoshoot Delivers Fresh Approach and Content
With the great response we’ve had to our Mercury Pro website solutions—including the Residential Systems CEDIA 2019 “Best of Show” Award and Connected Design’s 2019 Award—we couldn’t wait to create even more unique content for our brand-new designs. With more experience under our belt, we embarked on a second photoshoot to generate new photos and videos for our Mercury Pro models.
Getting a more varied visual presence for our clients was the top priority. Some of the spaces and technology we featured in this shoot weren't as prominent the first time around. It was also an opportunity to approach things differently based on things we learned the first time around. Eager to find out more about how we got our brand-new digital assets together? How Google Maps Pinpoints Your Ideal Customers and Lets Them Find You
For decades, the question marketers and growth-minded businesses have asked themselves is, “How do I get to the top of Google?” Because of the influx of algorithm updates and the elusive hacks it takes to work your way to that enviable position, the answer to this question has been a moving target since it was first pondered. And now, Google Maps is becoming a bigger piece of marketer’s objective than before. As you’ll find later, one of the new goals might be, more specifically, “Why should I show up in Google Maps?”
Part of the reason for this is because the way we use the internet, and what we use it for, have evolved. In 2010, just 5% of the world’s web traffic was attributed to mobile. Today, the number is tenfold -- more than half of all traffic comes from a mobile device. As mobile use exploded, Google responded by changing the way the search engine results page is organized.
Backlinks are an essential part of any well-planned Search Engine Optimization strategy. When one website links back to yours, you have gained a backlink. Often called inbound links, they are a signal to search engines that other websites trust you as a resource on a certain topic. The more quality backlinks you have to your website, the more search engines will be willing to show your website in search results.
If you are aiming to increase your website’s visibility on Google and other search engines in 2020, we at One Firefly recommend increasing the number of high-quality backlinks to your website. Backlinks from reputable domains that have demonstrated themselves as resources to web users will deliver more value to your website than others, so keep in mind that quality matters.
So, where do you begin?
In this blog, we are going to highlight three easy opportunities for you to add quality backlinks to your website. Just keep reading below to find out more!
